Bass Speaker System User’s Information  
Advice  
NOTE:  
The battery may be run down, preventing the bass system from functioning properly, if you set the speaker  
volume too loud for an extended period of time when the engine is at a stop or idling.  
Never disassemble or modified the speakers or the bass and unit. If there is a problem such as; no sound or an  
unusual smell, stop using the bass system immediately and have it inspected and/or repaired by an authorized  
Honda dealer. Failure to follow is advise can cause fire or permanent damage.  
Keep the speakers and the bass system dry.  
The 5A fuse is applied for this bass system. Use a fuse of the specified capacity for replacement whenever the  
fuse is replaced. If the fuse blows immediately after replacing, contact an authorized Honda dealer.  
Lower the volume to a proper level to hear emergency vehicles and other sounds outside the vehicle. Missing the  
outside sounds or traffic signals may endanger not only you but also others.  
To take the fullest advantage from the speaker and audio unit, maintain an adequate temperature in the cabin.

Sound Quality Adjustment  
The sound quality of this bass system is factory set for the best sound quality adjustment function. However, you can  
adjust the sound quality to your preference using the sound quality adjustment function on the audio unit.  
Note that the sound quality can change depending on the EQ (equalizer) and/or DSP (digital signal processor)  
you have set if the audio unit is equipped with these functions. Adjust the sound quality in accordance with your  
EQ or DSP.  
The sound can distort depending on the adjustment position. Adjust the sound quality to a position that does not  
cause sound distortion. Operating the audio unit without correcting sound distortion can cause the audio unit to  
malfunction.

For Further Sound Quality/Volume Adjustment  
The initial setting is specified in the Installation  
Instructions.  
Check the minimum and maximum adjustment positions before  
adjusting the sound quality/volume.  
Turning the adjustment point with force can damage it.  
Use a small phillips screwdriver to adjust.
